I became interested in fitness after I found myself a little overweight after one too many trips to Taco Cabana back in my home state of Texas.  A new friend introduced me to his love of cycling and captured my interest with his passion, so I found an old bicycle at a garage sale and I was hooked on cycling for fitness.  I lost all the weight, and then some – I was in the best shape I’d ever been.  I was so happy with the progress I made, I wanted to share it – I wanted to show others how to change their lives too!

I founded Lorenz Fitness in 2012, I have been involved in the fitness industry for over 14 years now as an athlete and trainer. After beginning as a cyclist, I got involved in triathlon and running. It didn’t take long to realize the benefits of strength training – they made me stronger, faster, more mobile and more flexible.

I received my Professional Training Certification (CPT) from National Academy of Medicine (NASM) and began my career in personal training. I am certified in Golf Fitness with both NASM & Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). I also hold certifications in Sports Performance, Nutrition, Neuromuscular Stretching, TRX Training, Triathlon from USA Triathlon, Cycling from USA Cycling, and Spinn Training from Madd Dog Athletics. 

My love for the game of golf and witnessing first hand the negative effect a repetitive swing has on my clients’ body, gave me the desire to focus more on helping golfers strengthen their body for a stronger, injury free swing, by becoming a Certified Golf Fitness Specialist with both NASM & TPI (Titleist Performance Institute).  I design golf conditioning programs that are individualized for each client based on their unique needs after an intensive evaluation.

I am honored to have helped many athletes become stronger, healthier, and injury-free over the years.  Although focusing on golfers specifically in the more recent past, I have helped a variety of other clients from elite athletes to business professionals that want or need to be in better physical condition, lose weight, or recover from illness. I believe in life long education and continue to study and educate myself in the areas of human mobility and fitness to teach golfers how to condition their bodies to play better golf.
